Interesting spot in the middle of our road trip. We didn't buy any cheese curds but we did stop for grilled cheese. It was panini style (grilled on sour dough type of bread) a bit pricy but it was hot and fresh. I just wish they have different cheese option - more interesting ones.

Huge selection of cheeses and other cool gifts such as teas and oils among other items. They have a clearance section of irregular shaped cheeses for a discount. They also have baked goods like butter tarts that are delicious. They also have cheese curds.

Good cheeses! Don’t miss out on the jams and crackers which are equally good pairings. Bought a jar of Jessie’s Jam good jam for a decent price!

Disappointed. I have always made sure I stopped here to buy marble cheese.Since Covid, Ivanhoe has made a change to the way it’s made and it now matches those other rubbery cheeses.Edit to Ivanhoe response:You better check your large blocks of marble then. I just bought one on Dec 29th and it’s rubber. A 4” sq block bends when trying to cut it. That’s not the same as it’s always been.

Great little shop with a bit of everything from fresh cheese and dairy, meats, drinks, ice cream, snacks and drinks to a variety of gift items. Staff are very friendly. Definitely worth the stop.

The best place to get good cheese curds period. We always make the extra drive from Peterborough after visiting family in Madoc. I specified after" the visit because the curds are too good to share with extended family. They also have all sorts of other wonderful cheese

Great little shop. Reasonable prices for the quality. If you're keen on the cheese and want to save some money, buy the end cuts or the cheese curds in the fridge behind the cash and to your left. They are discounted!
